By accessing or using Amicusdocs.com (“Amicus,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
2. Nature of Service
Amicusdocs.com is a platform for drafting, exchanging, and managing agreements and related communications. The platform provides administrative tools and automation features but does not constitute legal advice or representation.
3. Accounts and Access
To use interactive features, you must sign in through Google OAuth. You agree to:
- Provide accurate account information.
- Keep credentials confidential.
- Accept full responsibility for all activity under your account.
Accounts may be deleted at your discretion or suspended by us if used unlawfully or in breach of these terms.
4. Permitted Use
You may use Amicus only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not:
- Upload or share content that violates law, intellectual property rights, or confidentiality.
- Interfere with the operation or security of the service.
- Use the system to deliver spam or unauthorized communications.
5. Content and Ownership
You retain all rights to documents and materials you upload. By uploading, you grant Amicus a limited license to store, process, and display that content for the purpose of providing the service. We do not claim ownership of your data or agreements.
6. Privacy
Your use of the site is governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle personal information.
7. Automation and Notifications
Amicusdocs.com provides automated functions such as reminders, notices, timestamps, and scheduling. These are offered on a best-effort basis for user convenience.
You acknowledge and agree that:
- Automated features may fail, be delayed, or produce incomplete results.
- You remain solely responsible for verifying all deadlines, obligations, and notices related to your contracts.
- Amicusdocs.com is not liable for any loss, delay, or error arising from or related to automated functionality.
8. No Legal Advice
All services and communications provided by Amicusdocs.com are for informational and administrative purposes only. No attorney–client relationship is created, and no content on the site constitutes legal advice.
9. Intellectual Property
All software, interface design, and branding belong to Amicusdocs.com. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or distribute platform code or materials without prior written consent.
10. Availability and Maintenance
We aim for high reliability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance or external failures may cause downtime. We will act reasonably to restore service promptly.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Amicusdocs.com provides the service “as is” and without warranties.
- We are not liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, or punitive damages.
- Total liability, if any, shall not exceed the amount you paid (if any) during the preceding 12 months.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Amicusdocs.com and its owner from claims, losses, or liabilities arising from your use of the service, uploaded content, or breach of these Terms.
13. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or engage in unlawful activity. Upon termination, your access ceases immediately, and data will be deleted according to our Privacy Policy.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada, with venue in the courts of New Brunswick.
